Walter + Wonka is a production sound and audio post production network based in Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. We are especially interested in telling stories through sound. May it be for film, AR, VR or Games, we always have the emotional quality of our sound waves at heart.
We are able to provide a team for the whole process of audio post production, including location sound, music composition, foley editing, dialog editing, sound design and mixing/rerecording for cinema, TV or streaming, or love to join your team to fill any of these positions.
We have a special interest in the fast evolving audio-technologies surrounding immersive 3D Audio – Ambisonics, Wavefield Synthesis, Object based Audio.
Kai Czerwonka
Kai, born in 1989 in Dortmund, works as a freelance audio engineer. In 2010, he expanded his field of activities into the film industry, where most of the time, he works as a production sound mixer and boom operator. His main focus is to record high-quality audio on set but you can still book him as a live and studio engineer.
2017 Bachelor of Arts, Film and Sound at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund.
Kai is the founder of the film sound-equipment rental wonka-audio.
Max Walter
Max Walter was born in 1984 and lives in Dortmund. Since 2012, he has worked as a freelance sound designer, composer and rerecording mixer. Once in a while, you can also find him on set as a location sound mixer or boom operator.
He loves all kinds of sound waves, especially the crisp ones.
